This version washes out on dimming. Plus at 0348 asked me to rate it. Later today a new app will be found.

Great app. My only complaint is that it does not run in the background. But it can wake you up to any song in your iTunes library. Highly recommended.

UPDATE 10/4/16 Late for work today as alarm did not sound. Was used the same way as past 5 years. Seems broken in 10.1 I guess. Original review: This app replaced my alarm clock but i still have a wish list: 1. background not lit at all. Its too bright at the lowest setting 2. display alarm set time(s) for the next day in small numbers to avoid mistakes. 3. Display the date in small numbers/letters. 4. Control system brightness from within app so background can be dimmer. 5. Display weather for today and tomorrow along with current temp.

Testing for minutes later works. Hours later nothing despite app in background. Do not buy.

This would be great if I were able to use my ringtones for the alarm, as Im unable to hear the basics tones and Ive yet to find a song which has enough volume to wake me up!!!

Ive used this app for years. I could always trust it to do what it is meant to do. No longer true - some mornings Ill wake up late, look at the phone and see that the alarm shows as having gone on. But there is no sound. I guess it has something to do with a recent update. It should have been tested more thoroughly. Ill have to find another app.

Helps me wake up really well as a heavy sleeper ❤️❤️

Snooze button does not show up large like it used to when using alarm from Apples clock setting.

Ive had this app on my old phone for years and I love it. Always right on the money and the alarm has never failed me.

Ive never overslept with this app, and I sleep hard!

I’ve been using this app full time as my alarm clock for about 5 years now. I put it on whatever is my “previous” iPhone, put it in a dock next to my bed, set the display to never sleep, and presto, an awesome smart alarm clock with modern features alarm clocks should have, and no wood paneling! But over the last month or so, it’s had a big problem. The alarm doesn’t make a sound! About 50% of the time, when the alarm goes off, no audio comes out. Visually, you can see that the alarm is going off. It’s totally random: sometimes if you hit snooze on a silent alarm, the second alarm 10 minutes later WILL make sound. Sometimes it’s the opposite of that. Sometimes neither will make a sound. Sometimes both will. It’s totally random and totally unreliable. And yes the problem isn’t my old phone’s volume. I formerly loved this app for years. However it is an alarm clock, and it randomly can’t wake me up. Thus it has gone from the best alarm clock in the world, to the worst alarm clock in the world. Gotta give it one star, and now I’ll be searching the app store for a replacement. “My alarm clock app has a bug!” is not going to be a valid excuse for oversleeping and being late for work, sadly.

I purchased the pro app to eliminate issues. Unfortunately that is not the case. There have been multiple mornings that I have awakened to see my alarm going off with no sound. This morning was the last time. My search continues for an alarm clock app that works with my 6 plus.

Works well most of the time, make sure you understand all the control features or you might find the alarm not working.

I like it but the background is too bright. If it could be pitch black in the background then it would be infinity stars

This app, which I paid for, no longer works on my iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1.1. I know the OS is old, but iHandy shouldnt have updated their app on my phone if they knew it wouldnt work.

The most recent update restored the larger clock size on iPhone 6/Plus sized screens, so its back to a five star app for me. Ive used this app nightly for years in lieu of a bedside alarm clock, and the larger clock size is great since I dont have to put on my glasses to see the clock in bed. Thanks for listening to feedback!
